People (including me have already sent the flowers to be delivered on the 10th.
So please do not change these dates, since that would look very awkward.
I have read in a few places that we plan to send flowers on 11, and 12th also?
If that is the case then the document has to be updated to include those dates. Also, I suggest collecting emails and fax numbers and assigning a few people to do the actual "sending". This will make it easier to coordinate.

The lawyer of simple1 is not correct. INA specifically has the language for counting all immigrants (including spouses and children) towards numerical limits, and, we have been working to include provisions to eliminate counting depents towards numerical limits. Doing such extra effort as mentioned in the first post of the thread is not going to be helpful. When there is a bill we should be pushing towards not counting dependents and it is more straightforward. That will take care of the backlog issues to some extent. Admin fixes do not change laws, so admin fix for this is not possible as some suggested

I am aware that I was lucky (BTW, March 07 labor was my second labor. First one rotted in the BEC. And I have been here since '99). However, that doesn't change the fact that there is likely to be a 10+ year wait time for EB3 ROW. Thats my gut-feeling.
I also think that these 10+ year wait times are meaningless. In a few years, there will be some sort of CIR, and a points-based system will be instituted. At that point, there will be no distinction between those who have filed their 485s, and those who haven't.
All that we July07 EB-3 filers (India or ROW), and even EB-2 I/C, have is an EAD card until the CIR happens. If it happens next year, we are all in the same boat. If it happens in 2015, then the July 07 filers have EAD cards until then.

If a person isn't contributing money, isn't participating in state chapters, isn't going to any rally and his/her sole contribution is 'brilliant ideas' that get posted on the forums... only use he/she can be put to is inter-breeding donkeys and horses, like you said!
However, unfortunately, IV is not a farm.

Sincerely, I dont think its a problem for anyone to send $100 or 200. Most of the people here are not seeing any action from IV core in the last 6-12 months. And we guess same to hope for even for future. Many guys in other forums are writing against IV saying they will no more pursue any campaigns as the dates of core members are now current and they will not do anything that may jeopardize it. I am also not seeing any action eversince I joined here. So what is the point. Why dont we fight our case oursleves. I know unity is strenght, but when its not there, doing nothing is a a bad idea. This is not to hurt anyone.

I dont have access to the certified labor copy , I am just wondering if we need it for AC21 purposes. I am not sure how to get it from my desi employer/ desi lawyer. I have a job offer with a fortune 200 company which is willing to do H1b transfer/extension so I am opting for H1b instead of EAD. I am pretty sure about the job description will satisfy the same/similar test.
Is the job title and job description mentioned on the labor cert? Mine is a pre perm case. Is it good to have copy of labor cert for AC21?

When I joined Company X (prior employer) I paid for H1b transfer fee and h1b renewal fee(total $3200 + $3000).
They agreed to sponsor my green card(just to give required paperwork) and they asked me to pay GC cost, So far I have paid $1500 for labor +$1700 advertisement + $1700 for I-140 + $3750 just now to file I-485 for me and for my spouse as dates were current to my lawyer . I have labor and I-140 approved from Company X.
I was compromising my personal life by staying away from my family and company X didn't find any client near to my home. I decided to stay at home hoping Company X will find some client near to my home. I was on a bench(no salary for a month).When I asked for a "employment letter "to file I-485 Comapny X said they can't give because they are
not paying me , I said I will resign and then you give me "future employement letter". I resiged Company X( i found company Y near to my home), in 10 days they cancelled my H1b visa without informing me, gladly I found Company Y and H1b transfer took place before they could cancel my H1b. Company X is reluctant even today to give future emplyement
letter.They are ready to do corp-to-corp, for that I have to pay them H1b tranfer cost of $3200(as my prior h1b got cancelled by company X) . I belongs to TSC category but my lawyer sent my application to Nebraska.When I check the status online, says "case received in TSC"!! but Only the AP and EAD Checks are cashed. The I485 & FP checks are not yet cashed. Do any one come across like this?.

I came to know my wife's application is pending for finger printing. I was told she will be getting an appointment notice. Should I wait for notice or can we just walk in?
