Please let me know whether my I-140 will be approved under EB3.I have 3 year bachelors degree(Maths) from India and 2yr diploma from Aptech. Your suggestions will be highly appreciated

You are fine my friend if you applied in EB3. In EB3 you can apply as skilled worker or professional, if you applied as skilled worker you will get the approval for sure. If you applied as professional you may need to get education evaluation done, ofcourse you can combine your degrees to make equivalent to US bachelors as your labor allows it.
If your application is in texas, they will not reject based on education for sure( i don't know about your company financial status) they are very liberal. If your application is in Nebraska they may send RFE for education evaulation (if you didnt submit it with your application).
On the whole don't worry about education column as your labor gives the flexibity of combining the degrees, you will get approval for sure if your company financial status is good.

Do you know anyone have done that? Like you personally or anyone you know? Have they got I-140? I read that its possible to get PERM Labor done under EB-2, but USCIS gives real hard time at I-140 stage.

The lawyers had the Ozzie degree, as well as the US CPA evaluated via an accredited foreign degree evaluator. This was back in the summer of �06. Again, invest a few extra $$ and hire a good lawyer. They can best explain the process / prerequisites to you.

How do you distinguish between junk and not junk? It is holiday season and some families and students travel to India during this time. Some might get time to browse the net and some might not. If someone visits this forum they will be well informed about travel conditions back home and this was my only intention but I think you have an agenda here. My mom, after watching "Shankara Baranam" extended a technique to my memorizing the multiplication tables. She would wake me up early in the morning, and I had to memorize my tables sitting under the back light of my house. I did not like doing it, but it sure helped me memorize my tables faster! My mom believes that I remember my tables to this day because of her.
My younger brother (who was around 4) would wake up a little while later, and check on me to see whether I was studying or sleeping. He definitely would run to tell my mom if i was dozing off!! I probably was more angry with him (then) than with my mom. My brother does not remember much of this, but we do talk about the whole incidence as a joke!

Even as per Indian courts, the contract is valid only if mutually enforceable, which means that the company also needs to give you a two month's notice in case of termination.
Though there is very little risk, why burn the bridges? Be nice and negotiate a mutually agreed exit ... put in some extra hours if needed to transfer the knowledge or to answer any questions to your current job later on. I doubt if your current manager will turn down such an arrangement whereby you help him/her out when needed over a course of next two months...
For your career, the network is more important than the immediate monetary benefits, just my two cents... :)

Check the message by saturnring11 in this thread. He linked the USCIS document which states that PD is retained by the employee once the I-140 is approved unless I-140 is revoked for Fraud.

If the letter looks altered and if the ink and shade of your addition looks different from ink/shade of other text, then yes, they would doubt. If they doubt, they will follow procedure and verify the document's authenticity. I am not sure, check with lawyer but I think they will do that via RFE/inquiry. In that case, if you have LIN number, then case status will be updated and you will know that "Something" from USCIS is headed to your employer/lawyer for inquiry or verification. The online status info wont tell you what it is, but you will know if something from USCIS is on the way for inquiry/RFE.
Check all info I provided here with a lawyer. I am not a lawyer.
If that happens, you may want to really get a good attorney to provide you with options.

Not quite sure. I don't live there anymore. Cost of living is low compared to Chicago and also the salaries are low. Weather is good. It is hot, mild and cold - thunderstorms are common, big city, well connected by delta airlines. City is full of new immigrants and it is lively and bubbly.

Am I in the same situation? My spouse left US today to INDIA. However we filled the 485 on July 2nd. Will they consider that as abandonment of the application?

Did you say your H1 was valid till Feb 2009? In that case, at this point, you are out of status.

I agree. UnitedNations has been tirelessly providing inputs to a lot of GC cases especially the 3 year degree issues on http://www.immigration.com.
